They say that in order to be successful you need to follow a number of predetermined steps until you reach your chosen goal. Something akin to walking. You've already taken the first step. You're here.
The instructions that follow can be carried out on your phone, tablet or computer.
Once you've had a good look around our site to familiarize yourself with what we have to offer, it's time to take the next step, get your free Bronze account.
In the upper right hand corner (on the navigation bar to the left of the language dropdown) is the Sign in button. Click on the button and you'll be taken to the Sign in screen.
If you don't have an account yet, you'll have the opportunity to do so now. Click on the Sign up link and enter your information. For the free Bonze account we need your name and email address and you need to create a password so you can access your account securely. Should you ever lose your password you can always get a new one by clicking on Forgot password?
After you have created your account you are redirected to the Sign in screen. Use the email address you registered your account with and the password you just created to log into your account.
After you Sign in you are redirected to your account page where you can modify the options available for your account.
Bronze options: Here you can add a new event, change the event you want to collect information for and change the display language when you're collecting prospect information.
Current choices are English or Dutch. If you need to collect prospect information in another language, send an email to translations at informationacquisition.com and we'll add it to the list of choices.
Click on the Show emails button to display all of the information that you have gathered for the shown event. Once this is on your screen, you can easily select it all and Copy (Ctrl-C) and then Paste (Ctrl-V) this into your favorite mail program.
When you click on the Continue button displayed in the bottom right corner of your account options, you will be presented with a page that looks somewhat like the image to the right, dependant on what device it is being displayed on.
This is the page that you hand to your prospective customer so that he can leave you his information.
Ask your prospect to fill in his email address, give you permission to send him emails and click or press on the Submit button. If the information is not correct, he'll be asked to correct it and if it is be presented with a Thank-you screen. Click on the next button and you're ready to collect the next prospects' information.
It's that easy.
You're now well on your way to acquiring a large, targeted e-mailing list.
Use it responsibly to send out your newsletter and product announcements. Offer your newletter subscribers special pricing on certain items. Let them know about your open house. Ask for their feedback on how to improve your service.
In short, keep your prospects engaged and make them satisfied customers.
